Through
a well-developed programming system, TV-EAST intends to make
them aware of the fact that their individuality as a South Asian
community depends on having conformity with traditional principals
and realization of their cultural identity. |

TV-EAST will acquire some programs from Pakistan, Bangladesh
and West India whereas some of them will be produced within
USA. |
 |
Most of the programming will be broadcasted during the daytime
(9am - 6pm) and (10am - 6pm). |
 |
From 6 pm to mid night, most of the programs aired by TV-EAST
will be locally produced and will address local issues of common
interest. This will be comprised of community discussions, news
& events, talk shows & interviews, business development
advice and youth counseling. |

TV-EAST will also promote artists, scientists, doctors and professionals
from various disciplines of life who could be a guiding source
for youth. |
 |
There will be a special coverage to existing business profiles
to help upcoming entrepreneurs and startup companies. |
 |
TV-EAST plans to feature a blend of talk shows, dramas, cartoons,
documentaries and religious shows targeted at the 6 million
to 8 million Muslims living in the United States and Canada,
about 2.3 million households. |

The programming would address cross-cultural issues such as
children of immigrants growing up in the United States, changes
to immigration law since Sept. 11, and question-and-answer sessions
with scholars. The channel will be broadcast from a NYC based
studio. |
 |
Cartoon animation serials, Barney/Sesame style educational show,
Quran lessons, Animated Quran stories and fables. Animated Islamic
history stories. Basics of Islam and prayers for children. |
